Possible Invitation?

I have already had a possible invitation to display the puzzle at the local Elk's Club.  A guy at the post office that I frequent daily knows what I'm doing and he suggested that he talk to the club's president.  So we will see what comes of that.  I told him that it would be most likely a couple months or more before I'm done, but would need more time to tell.

He said they would have the paper there!  Cool!

  1. That's very cool, Cortney. I hope they do it. I have considered doing something similar too when I'm finished with the puzzle. Although I think I'll want to keep it and display it somewhere just to have proof that I really did it...and of course to show off to my friends when they come over! LOL

  2. How's the puzzling going? I haven't seen any updates in about a week or so.

  3. I would love to keep it, but we just don't have a spot big enough let alone the ceiling!

I am just about to post again. It has been veerryy slow!

  4. Hee hee....I'm lucky in that I have three walls in my house that are big enough to put the puzzle when it's finished. Unfortunately two of them are upstairs so I will have to make the decision where it's going to go before I put all the sections together cuz otherwise there will be no choice - it will have to go downstairs. LOL Glad to see some new posts from you - I was really wondering how it was going! I'll comment more on your other posts.

  5. I do have a partially finished basement, so it could go there, but my mom lives there and there is no free wallspace at the moment. :) I don't know if you know, but there is a 3,000 piece version of LIFE. Some people keep the 3,000 piece and donate the 24,000. I have considered this.

We're going to keep commenting back and forth on every single post. LOL

  6. Yeah, if I end up giving the big one away, I will probably get the 3,000 piece one and use that to display, but I'm going to try to put up the big one when it's done.
